Universal Audiovisual Library
A telematic database with hundreds of thousands of Gigabytes of audio and video content in its original language, released under open and public licenses.
The Universal Audiovisual Archive will realize the largest digital archive network in Europe for consultation and local reuse of audio and video. It will host mainly: European or Italian content with high potential for re-use in Italian or English languages, in public domain or under Creative Commons open licenses, but also proprietary licensed content of great cultural value for consultation.
It intends to create a unique and geographically located resource to serve as an European center of gravity for the community and sectors of multi-format audiovisual production and micro-production centered on research, editing and remixing.
The Universal Audiovisual Library is part of the Audiovisual Telematics Park, a multifunctional complex focused on the needs of innovative media and ICT, sponsored by Tecnoconsult International Srl.
