We compared the 10 most prominent FLOSS projects: XBMC, MythTV, Boxee, Elisa, Neuros OSD, Freevo, My Media System, Entertainer, CenterStage+Plex and MediaPortal.

The version 1.0 of this work was realized between June and September and first published on 18 September 2008. It was coordinated by our Program Director, Giovani Spagnolo, in collaboration with leaders and developers of all Media Center FLOSS communities, and is constantly updated.
